Anna L. Rossman, 102, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Eagle Valley Personal Care Home.
Born Jan. 2, 1908, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late William C. Taylor and Gertie Kerstetter Taylor. On July 1, 1924, in Maryland, she was married to Charles E. Rossman, who preceded her in death on April 2, 2001. Anna attended Bellefonte Area High School. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake for her family. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Peg Kellogg, of Bellefonte; two sons, Edward Rossman and his wife, Lucy, of York, Robert T. Rossman and his wife, Ann, of Howard, and a son-in-law William Osman, of Bellefonte. She is survived by the following grandchildren, Gary and Jerie Kellogg, of Zion, Susan and Bob Kersavage, of Bellefonte, Michael Kellogg, of State College, Terri Rossman, of Howard, Steve Rossman, of Williamsport, Michael and Eleanor Rossman, of Camp Hill, Erin and Bob Bennis, of York. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Molly Osman on August 12, 2003, two sisters and two brothers.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, from 10-11 a.m. at Wetzler Funeral Service Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Andrew Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
