Clifford S. Turner, 59, of Unionville, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at his home. Born on July 25, 1956, in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Lucille Swittenberg. Following his mother’s death, he was adopted and raised by the late Brunell and Ervin Turner. He is survived by his fiancé Beth Hartzell, who resides in Unionville. He is also survived by one son, Colin Turner, two daughters; Ashleigh Turner and Becka Turner, one sister, Carolyn Turner Hubbard, one brother, Harlan Turner.

He was a 1974 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School in Pennsburg, PA.

Cliff was a musician and the leader of The Cliff Turner Band and also a former member of many other bands such as; Cliff Turner and the Afterburners, JP Rocks, Up From Heaven, Shotgun, The Salford Station Boogie Band, HoneySuckle and Onna Leash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Holly Woodring Turner, and his brother, Michael Turner.

Cliff had an infectious laugh and smile. He enjoyed all types of music but he most enjoyed Soul, Funk, R&B, and the Motown Sound. He was also an avid fisherman.

There will be a public visitation held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 6-8pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Bellefonte.
