David A. Kresge, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Geisinger Hospital in Danville.
He was born Saturday, July 15, 1950 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was the son of the late Aaron Keith and Lois Madeline Borges Kresge. On May 26, 1973 he married Margaret Jones in Allentown.
Mr. Kresge retired as a Paint Sales Specialist for the Do It Best Corporation and was currently enjoying retirement by working at the Penn State Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and two daughters, Kristeen Crawford (Bryon) of Pittsburgh and Denise Kyle (James) of Bellefonte; three grandchildren, Addison Rae and Siena Grace Crawford, and Jackson Cooper Kyle; and a sister, Kathryn Kresge of Allentown.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, immediately followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon with the Reverend Renee Ford officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David Kresge Grandchildren Education Fund, 1321 Parkwood Drive, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
