Dennis R. Campbell, 56, of Bellefonte, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A son of Twila (Rudy) Campbell, who survives in Bellefonte, and the late Paul Campbell, he was born on May 23, 1958, in Tyrone. He married Donna (Tice) Campbell, who survives at home.
Dennis attended Bald Eagle Area High School and had worked as a mechanic. He attended the God’s Missionary Church in Milesburg.
Dennis loved his family. He enjoyed working on cars and the outdoors. He was always there for people before his illness took over.
Along with his wife and mother, Dennis is survived by two children; Danielle Brungard (Ed) of Pleasant Gap, Daniel Campbell (Erin) of Milesburg, four sisters; Sue Kistner of Louisiana, Bonnie Estright of Julian, Cathy Weaver of Yarnell, Vickie Ackerman of Bellefonte, two brothers; Randy Campbell of Julian and Barry Campbell of Milesburg. Dennis is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Campbell.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 6-8 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 1 pm, at the funeral home, with Rev. Michael Hoskins, Sr. and Pastor Jeffrey Trawinski officiating. Burial will follow in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Township.
