Obituary of Donald B. Shawley, 64

Donald B. Shawley, 64, of Milesburg, passed on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Don was born on November 4, 1953, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Franklin and Wilma Emerick Shawley.

Don is survived by his daughters, Tracy Confer (Joe Eckenrode), of Julian, and Heather Hollobaugh, of Tylersville; his grandchildren, Kyle Viedeffer, Ashley McGhee, Nathan Flick, Toby Cain, Robert Cain, Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Zaiden Flick, Izlee Viedeffer, and Preston Viedeffer. Don is also survived by his three brothers, including his twin Ronald A. Shawley, of Milesburg, Andrew A. Shawley, of Bellefonte, and Daniel W. Shawley, of Philipsburg; his three sisters, Carol Newman, of Milesburg, B. Kay McCloskey, of Bellefonte and Donna Shawley, of Bellefonte.

Don was a laborer at Bellefonte Lime Co. He was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenneth F. Shawley and Jeffrey Shawley.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 6-7 p.m. at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald E. Baker officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
