Ellery G. Miller, 72 of Howard, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Ellery was born on February 19, 1937 in Liberty Twp., he is the son of the late Donald A. and Ella M. Haines Miller.
He married Molly L. Packer on August 27, 1960. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2007.
Ellery was a miner at Bellefonte Lime for 27 years. He was a social member of the American Legion at Beech Creek and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death along with his parents was a sister, Mary B. Eck and a brother; Donald Miller Jr.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Summit Hill Cemetery, Curtin Twp.
