Obituary of Faye Hahn, 87

Faye L. Hahn, 87, of Pine Glen, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born on August 30, 1926, in Allport, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Holt Lucas. On April 26, 1946, in Milesburg, she married her loving husband of 51 years, Ralph L. Hahn, who passed away on May 21, 1997.
Faye attended the Allport School. She was of the Methodist faith.

Faye was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved her pets, stuffed animals, gardening and coloring on velvet art. She was the best bargain shopper. She loved going to yard sales, shopping at the Thrift Store and the Goodwill, and then going for Chinese dinner.

Faye is survived by her four daughters; Jeannie Reish and her husband, John, of Petersburg, Sue Leaper and her husband, Scott, of Pine Glen, Judy Owens and her husband, Joe, of Karthaus, and Linda Ross and her husband, Butch, also of Karthaus; one son, Daniel Hahn and his wife, Katie, of Pine Glen. Also surviving are her 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Being the last of her generation, she was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters. Also preceding her in death was one grandson and three great grandsons.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February, 27, 2014 from 6-8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Catherine W. Dittman officiating. Interment will follow at Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe Twp.
