Gerald Frank Kasmala, 70 of State College, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at is home. He was born on January 23, 1947 in Nanticoke, Pa and grew up in El Paso, Tx. and also spent time in England as a child.
Jerry graduated from Nanticoke High School in 1964. He then received his B.S. degree in electrical engineer in 1967 from Penn State and M.S. from Penn State in 1971. He was an electrical engineer for HRB Singer and ARL at Penn State University.
He enjoyed chess, photography, bowling (he once bowled a 299 game), and collecting tropical fish.
He is survived by one son, Peter Kasmala, his ex-wife, Lynda Kasmala and his good friend, Diane Senn.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
