Joseph R. Windle, Jr., 64, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center. Born on May 21, 1949, in Wilmington DE, he was the son of the late Joseph R. & Elva J. Jones Windle Sr.
Joseph was of the protestant faith. He attended the Christian High School in Christian, DE. He was a self-employed construction worker.
Joseph enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren.
Joseph is survived by his son, William J. Windle of Dover, DE and his daughter, Tehla Poindexter of North Carolina, and his five grandchildren; Jerica and Cicily Poindexter, and William, Joseph, and Kelsey Windle.
Also surviving are his four sisters, JoAnn H. Neal, Sandy L. Sherman, Bonnie J. Walker all of Bellefonte, and Nancy L. Chambers of Grassflat.
If you would like to honor Joe’s memory, spend time with your children, read them a book, or just sit on the floor and play with them.
Joe’s wishes were to have all services private. Burial will be in Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe Twp.
