Obituary of Joyce Henninger , 74

Joyce L. Henninger, 74, of State College, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township. Born on June 18, 1941, in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie (Miller) Waltz. On February 7, 1963 she married Ernest L. Henninger, who preceded her in death on October 18, 2009.

She was a 1959 graduate of the Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
Joyce worked as an Executive Secretary for HRB.
She was of the Methodist faith.

Joyce is survived by one daughter; Mardi Hockenberry and her husband Robert of McAlevy’s Fort, two sons; Craig Henninger and his wife DeAnna of Greenville, SC and Scott Henninger and his fiance Karen of Bellefonte, two brothers; Adam Waltz and Dave Waltz, five grandchildren; Michael, Corie, Sara, Danielle, and Rachel, and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Waltz.

There will be a public visitation held Friday, July 3, 2015, from 10am until 12am the time of the service at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene McCallips officiating.

Burial will follow at the Centre County Memorial Park in College Township.
