Kay F. Larimer, 78 a lifelong resident of Pleasant Gap passed away January 23, 2017 at home. Born January 7, 1939 in Bellefonte she was the daughter of Melvin and Grace (Coder) Foore. She married Dale H. Larimer who preceded her in death on March 16, 2011.
Kay was a 1956 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked for Bell Telephone and retired in 1994. She was a member of Pioneers, CWA 1300, Logan Grange 109, Pleasant Gap Women’s Club, and Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church where she served on the memorial committee, and volunteered at the lunch program.
Kay is survived by two daughters, Cathy Jo Baney of Bellefonte and Amy Larimer of Pleasant Gap and one son, Christopher Larimer of North Carolina, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Bob Foore of Spring Mills and John Foore of Trappe, Pa.
Additionally, Kay leaves behind an extended circle of snowbird friends from the Terra Ceia Village in Palmetto, FL, where she and Dale wintered for more than 20 years.
