Kenny died at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, after being injured during a robbery at the Dominos Pizza in Knightdale, N.C. At Wake Med in Raleigh, N.C.,
Kenny was a man with a large heart. He always had time to help a friend or a stranger even if it meant the he himself would go without. Kenny was born on April 30, 1986, in Centre Community Hospital in State College. He was the son of Daniel and Kimberly Ring. He attended kindergarten and started elementary school here in State College before moving to N.C. with his family in 1995. He finished his schooling in N.C., graduating from Wake Forest Rolesville High School in Wake Forest, N.C. in 2004.
Kenny worked with his mother at Schlotzsky's Deli for a time after high school. He also worked with his Father at Flextronics in Youngsville before attending Barton College. He started for a business degree, but his heart was not in it. Like many young men he was trying to find his way. He always enjoyed working with his hands and spent much of his time tearing something apart and putting it back together. He truly loved cars and trucks and got a lot of joy both fixing and modifying both. Kenny loved his dogs as well. Misty, Ash and Brock were always happy when he came home and he enjoyed spending time with them.
Kenny was just starting a new chapter in his life and we wish for yet one more page but find an unexpected unfinished great novel. Kenny will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will always have a special place in our hearts.
