Raisa Ivanovna Fomichev,71, of State College passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 18, 1944, in Barnaul, Russia, the daughter of the late Ivan V. and Paraskovya I. Privalova Maslov. Raisa was a retired seamstress. She was a member of the State College Russian Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Pavel Fomichev and Roman A. Fomichev. Also surviving Raisa is her brother, Ruvim I. Maslov. She is also survived by her four grandchildren.
Services were held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 1 PM at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home with Pastor Alexandr Tishchenko officiating. Burial was in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, Pa.
