McCloskey, Ruth Ann 78, formerly of Howard, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. She was born in Lock Haven on February 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Fred and Alma Stricker Miller.
She was married to Grover L. McCloskey, Jr. he preceded her in death.
She had worked at Sylvania, did private babysitting and had worked on the family farm.
She is survived by one son; Richard W. Miller of Bellefonte, one step-daughter; Patsy Singer of Howard, two grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother; Frank.
Memorial service will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Centre Crest Nursing Home, 502 E. Howard St., Bellefonte, with the Rev. Alex Dyakiw officiating. Burial will be at the Schencks Cemetery, Howard Twp.
