Sherry Ann Spangler, 68 of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born on March 29, 1941
the daughter of the late Howard & Mary Lillian McCloskey Hoy.
She is survived by two daughters; Dody Hockenberry of Bellefonte & Tina Spangler of Axemann, two sons; Donald Spangler of Beech Creek, and Tim Spangler of Bellefonte. one sister; Mona Burd of Milesburg, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was employed at Woolrich as a seamstress.
Sherry was a member of the Bellefonte Eagles. She had attended Mt. Eagle Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, doing word find puzzles and playing her poker machine.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. 16841. Burial will be in the Hublersburg Cemetery.
