Suzanne B. Loux, 77, of Bellefonte, passed away, Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born on July 7, 1935, in Drexel Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank T. and Elizabeth (Kauffman) Loux.
She was a 1957 graduate of Penn State University and received M.S. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
She was retired from the Urban Institute in Washington, DC, as a research scientist.
Suzanne is survived by a sister, Bettie L.Donley of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January12, 2013, at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 160 N. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, with the Reverend Kevin Shock officiating.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church at 160 N. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823.
