Wayne L. Breon, 74, of Milesburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Embassy of Hearthside in State College. Born on January 10, 1950, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Ibra F. and Adelene I. (Garner) Breon. On September 27, 1979, he married Patricia A. Baney. Patricia passed away on April 8, 2019.

Wayne attended Bellefonte Area High School. He was a delivery man for Hodie’s Furniture Store in Bellefonte and then for Capperella Furniture in Bellefonte, retiring after 35+ years of service. 

Wayne enjoyed attending car shows, showing his 1986 Mustang at car shows, playing bingo, attending Centre County Grange Fair, attending family functions, and supporting his family in all their sporting activities. He loved to sing, especially to his grandchildren. His favorite pastime was being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a social member of the Milesburg American Legion and helped there every chance he could. He made a lot of friends through the Legion, and they will miss him dearly.

Wayne is survived by is son, Dwayne G. Breon and his girlfriend, Lori, of Milesburg; two grandchildren: Curtis Witherite and Colin Witherite both of Bellefonte; two great grandchildren: Colson and Mehlah; four step grandchildren: Brianna Keith and her fiancé, Kacey Weyant, of Boalsburg, Brittany Myers and her boyfriend, Andrew Tenalio, of Jacksonville Rd, Devon Keith of Milesburg, and Mariah Bowersox and her husband, Joshua, of Millerstown; and three step great grandchildren: Sage Weyant, Davis Keith, and Swaylynn Bowersox. Even though these children were his “step grandchildren”, he considered them as his own and loved them all.

Wayne is also survived by two brothers: Gerald E. Breon and his wife, Tina, of Selinsgrove and Joseph L Breon and his wife, Anna, of Zion; one sister, Joyce L. Watson of RD Bellefonte and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert B. Brown.

There will be viewing on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 10-11am at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg. The funeral service will follow 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Baney officiating. Wayne will be laid to rest beside Patricia at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard Twp.
