State College Police Looking for Man Who Shot Into Drug Store, Stole Medication

State College police are searching for a suspect who shot through the front door of a pharmacy and stole medication early Thursday morning.

At about 2:20 a.m., the gunman (pictured) discharged a firearm at the front door to shatter the glass and gain entry to Rite Aid, 1927 S. Atherton St. He then took an undisclosed amount of medication and fled.

“The male should be considered armed and potentially dangerous,” police wrote in a statement on Thursday. “If seen please contact 911 immediately.”
