UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State Golf Courses will host an eco-friendly, spring-themed event, ‘Golfin’ on the Green,’ from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at 1523 W. College Ave., State College. The event is open to the community and is for children 5 to 10 years of age.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in engaging and fun activities centered around the concept and sport of golf. The class, taught by instructor Kathleen Raupach, will give young people the opportunity to learn about golf and sustainability.
There is no cost to attend, but participants must register at https://pennstategolfcourse.com. For more information, call (814) 863-0257.
