2 People Killed, 2 Injured in Crash on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township

Two people were killed and two were injured in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Harry Dillon, 69, and Meredith Dillon, 69, of Tyrone, died in the crash. They were traveling northbound near Zendt Lane at about 4:30 p.m. when they crossed into the southbound lane for unknown reasons, police wrote. Their Honda Pilot struck the driver’s side of a Honda Odyssey then crashed head-on into a Dodge Ram pickup.

The driver of the pickup, 66-year-old Daniel Spicer of Bellefonte, was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for serious injuries. The driver of the Odyssey, 33-year-old Sarah Harris of Philipsburg, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

South Eagle Valley Road just outside Port Matilda Borough was closed for more than two hours.

Port Matilda EMS, Centre LifeLink EMS, Mount Nittany Medical Center Ambulance, Port Matilda and Alpha Fire companies, the Centre County Coroner’s Office, PennDOT and state police responded to the scene.
