‘American Pickers’ is coming to Pennsylvania, and the show is looking for leads on local hidden treasures.
The popular History Channel show features hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz exploring the world of antique ‘picking’ as they highlight unique collections and the stories behind them.
In August, Wolfe, Fitz and their team will be traveling through Pennsylvania in August to film episodes of the show.
‘Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items,’ according to a news release. ‘The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.’
If you or someone you know has a private collection of antiques and an interesting story or two, send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST. You can also find them on Facebook here.
The show only features private collections, so no businesses or places open to the public.
‘Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before,’ the news release said. ‘They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.’
