Banners Reported Stolen from Penn State Natatorium; Public’s Help Sought

Two large banners together worth $425 have been reported stolen from McCoy Natatorium, on the University Park campus, Penn State police said.

The thefts happened sometime between 8 p.m. July 8 and 9 a.m. July 10, according to a news release. Both banners were taken from the natatorium’s swimming area, police said. One reads, ‘gopsusports.com’; the other, ‘Penn State Swimming and Diving.’

University police are asking anyone with information to call them at (814) 863-1111 or Centre County Crimestoppers at (877) 99-CRIME. Anonymous tips may be submitted through the university police website. People who provide information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of as much as $1,000.
