CATA will provide expanded White Loop service during First Night State College for those attending New Year’s Eve festivities in downtown State College on Saturday, Dec. 31.
The buses will operate during the busiest period of First Night, every 10 minutes from 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The White Loop provides free, continuous transportation between the major downtown event sites: Beaver Avenue and Allen Street (at the Schlow Centre Region Library/CATA office), Pegula Ice Arena, Pattee Library, and South Borrowes Street near the Atherton Hotel.
First Night White Loop Route and Schedule
CATA’s Customer Service Center Office, 108 E. Beaver Ave,, will be open during it’s normal Saturday office hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31. The lobby of the Customer Service Center will reopen from 5 to 10 p.m. to offer visitors participating in First Night State College activities a warm respite from the weather, free hot chocolate and restroom facilities.
