Centre County United Way Announces New Board Members

The Centre County United Way board of directors recently announced its new members and officers.

Joining the board of 25 volunteer members for their first terms are Marnie Derabasse of Penn State Federal Credit Union; Jeannine Lozier, community outreach coordinator for Mount Nittany Health; and Steve Sampsell, director of strategic communications for the Penn State College of Communications.

Betsy Dupuis, an attorney with Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir, will lead the board as chair. Mary Kay Williams, of MindShift Consulting, will serve as vice-chair and Derabasse will serve as treasurer. Transportation consultant Hugh Mose was announced as secretary.

Boards members represent all areas of the county. Their role is to guide CCUW with sound, ethical and legal governance and financial management policies, and ensure it has adequate resources to advance its mission, according to the organization.
