Centre LifeLink Assisting Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts in New Jersey

Passing along a press release from Centre LifeLink:

Centre LifeLink EMS has been requested to go to Ocean County, N.J. as part of the Pennsylvania Strike Team to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Thirty-five ambulances from Pennsylvania have been deployed to assist with 911 calls, aid in search and rescue efforts and help in the local emergency shelters.

According to Kent Knable, Centre LifeLink’s EMS Chief, a total of four EMTs and paramedics from Centre LifeLink left Tuesday afternoon to meet three other local ambulance services.
