A teen’s and women’s clothing retailer will close its Nittany Mall location this week.
Charlotte Russe will have its last day of business at the mall on Wednesday. The national company, which operates more than 500 stores in 45 states, recently restructured $240 million in debt to avoid bankruptcy.
It’s the second Nittany Mall store to be closing in June, joining Things Remembered, which plans to close by the end of the month.
They join a list of mall businesses that have closed up shop in 2018. Anchor stores Sears and Bon-Ton have both closed this year, as have eateries Auntie Anne’s, RC’s Dogs, Garfield’s Restaurant and Pub and Old State Deli. Happy Wraps opened in the former Old State Deli location.
