Construction materials worth about $1,420 were reported stolen around 6:30 a.m. Monday, Penn State police said.
The materials were taken from a construction site at Park Avenue and Allen Road, on the University Park campus, according to a police report. The Gary Schultz Child Care Center at Hort Woods is being built at that location.
Police said the theft happened sometime between Friday and early Monday. An investigation is continuing.
