Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers has identified the man who died in a mobile home fire on Sunday night in Benner Township.
Kenneth Fitzgerald, 42, died of smoke inhalation and his death was ruled accidental, Sayers said in a release on Tuesday night.
Fitzgerald’s home at 1117 Buffalo Run Road was destroyed by the fire that broke out at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. Logan, Undine, Pleasant Gap, Walker Township and Citizen’s fire companies responded to the scene.
Buffalo Run Road/Route 550 was closed for several hours in the area of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
