Event to Connect Young Professionals with Community Organizations

Young professionals in Centre County who want to become more involved in the community will have an opportunity to connect with local organizations at an upcoming event.

CBICC Connect, the young professionals arm of the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County, will hold a Community Engagement Fair from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the American Philatelic Society’s Sundman Hall, 100 Match Factory Place in Bellefonte.

Free and open to young professionals, the event will host representatives from a number of organizations who will share how individuals can volunteer their time and talents while making new friends and professional connections.

Light refreshments will be served and attendees are encouraged to bring a business card for special raffle prize drawings that will be held throughout the evening.
