Lady Lions Page, Carter Named to All-Big Ten Teams

Penn State women’s basketball standouts Teniya Page and Amari Carter were recognized on Monday afternoon as All-Big Ten selections.

After averaging 18.1 points per game this season, Page was named to the first team for the second year in a row by the coaches. The media included Page on its second team.

This is the third time the junior has been honored as an all-conference selection. She is only the third Lady Lion player to earn first or second team all-conference in each of their first three seasons, joining Maggie Lucas and Kelly Mazzante.

Carter was selected to the conference’s second team by the coaches and named an honorable mention by the media. The redshirt sophomore averaged 14.4 points per game this season, while tallying the second most steals in the conference with 78.
