The Mezzanine club in downtown State College has closed, StateCollege.com learned Saturday through sources with knowledge of the situation.
The cause for the closure was not immediately clear, however. Nor was it clear whether the establishment, 420 E. College Ave., may reopen.
That address formerly housed the Cell Block nightclub and — before that — the Crowbar.
A listed telephone line for the Mezzanine was not answered Saturday afternoon, and a couple electronic messages sent to club management were not immediately answered.
