Two to four inches of snow are expected to fall on the State College area Monday night and early Tuesday morning, according to AccuWeather.com. The forecast low temperature for the overnight hours is 12 degrees.
The anticipated conditions have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a winter weather advisory. It will be in effect for the State College area until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Roads may be covered with snow or slush, according to the advisory. It urges drivers to be cautious.
