A driver was uninjured after crashing a car into the construction site for an apartment building on Tuesday night, according to Ferguson Township police.
At about 7 p.m. on the 900 block of West College Avenue, the driver of a Volkswagen sedan “turned too soon,” crashed through a safety fence and landed in the excavated site, police said on Wednesday.
The six-story, 96-unit Aspen West End student apartment complex is currently under construction at that location.
The car and construction site both sustained damaged.
