As part of an effort to be sure people in the area are equipped for the winter, members of the Patton Township Business Association are taking part in a drive to collect winter clothing, such as boots, gloves, and hats, to distribute to the Burrowes Street Youth Haven in State College.
The Youth Haven is a four-bed shelter for homeless or runaway youth in the area.
Members of the Business Association are accepting donations of new or gently used winter clothes to fit men and women between the ages of 12 and 21 until Dec. 31.
