Penn State wrestlers clinched a national title Saturday in the 2011 NCAA wrestling championships, university athletics sources reported online.
Penn State was already in the lead when competition began Saturday, the final day of the championships. The victory — barring any unexpected developments as the championships conclude — will mark the first time the university has won the championships in nearly six decades. They’re held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
