The 43rd annual installment of Penn State’s Ag Progress Days came to a close Thursday afternoon, capping three days of exhibitions, demonstrations and public outreach.
Put on by the university College of Agricultural Sciences, Ag Progress Days is the largest outdoor agricultural exposition in Pennsylvania. Penn State hosts the event at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center, along state Route 45 in Rock Springs.
More than 40,000 people visit the three-day event each year. It features more than 400 exhibitors who spotlight innovations and advancements in the agricultural industry. Also spotlighted is work by Penn State’s faculty in agriculture.
