State College Police are investigating a home invasion and robbery reported Saturday morning at an apartment on the 200 block of South Sparks Street.
Police responded to the report at 11:51 a.m. The resident of the apartment said that a black male in his late 20s with a handgun forced his way in and demanded money.
The suspect is described as 6-foot-3 with dark skin and light facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a shiny, black puffy vest.
The suspect left the apartment with a small amount of cash and the resident was not injured.
