State College police are seeking information about two suspects who allegedly stole a woman’s wallet and charged thousands of dollars in purchases to her credit cards.

The woman reported on Aug. 25 that her wallet was stolen while she was shopping in Bed Bath & Beyond, 313 Benner Pike. The suspects then used her credit cards to make numerous purchases at six State College area stores.

Police said $7,504.88 in fraudulent purchases were made at Choice, Target, two CVS locations and two Rite Aid locations.

The suspects (pictured below) are described as two middle-aged, black females.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through the department’s website.
