Spring Township Police are investigating a burglary in which the suspect appeared to be targeting prescription drugs.
Police responded to a report of a burglary on Friday at a home on East College Avenue in Pleasant Gap. According to a release from the department, the incident occurred during daylight hours and the suspect gained entry by pushing in a screen propped in an open window. The suspect seemed to be familiar with the location, the release added.
‘Burglaries are very rare in Spring Township,’ Detective Dale Moore said. ‘This was the third burglary of the year.’
