In an effort to fully engage the community in every step leading up and through the high school project, the State College Area School District is hosting a community forum on Wednesday night, complete with tours to illustrate why renovation is so badly needed.

Tours of both the north and south high school buildings begins at 5:30 p.m. and the forum begins at 7 p.m. in the High School South auditorium, according to the school district’s website.

Also available on the school’s website is a timeline of the high school project’s progress, a comment drop box and a schedule for the Community Engagement Team, which continues to welcome members.

Superintendent Bob O’Donnell sent an email to parents with children in the school district informing them of the community forum and encouraging attendance.

“Your input during this process will be important to our district and Board of Directors. The project will occur if and only if our community chooses. Regardless of the age or grades of your children, this project will be an investment in our community for many years,” O’Donnell wrote.
