Movies

The teen thriller “I Am Number Four” comes to theaters this weekend and is probably a good choice for anyone who already saw Justin Bieber’s movie. The film is the story of a high school girl who falls for a classmate with unearthly gifts and whose small clan is at war with others of its kind.

“Unknown” puts Liam Neeson in a role similar to his last hit, “Taken.” Neeson wakes up after a car accident to discover that his identity has been stolen.

Penn State wrestling takes on Wisconsin in Rec Hall at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 19

Food

St. John’s UCC in Boalsburg will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Each meal includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, and ice cream. Plates are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 10-2. The meal benefits the youth group mission trip.

Entertainment

The Nittany Valley Symphony will be performing “Transformation” at 7:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium. Tickets are $24 for adults and $5 for students.

Late Night

Inferno Brick Oven and Bar has happy hour from 9 to 11 p.m. — including half-priced happies and $3.50 Ketel One Drinks until midnight.

JR and Natalie Band take the stage at Cafe 210 West at 10:30 p.m. All-day drink specials include $6 Captain Morgan pitchers and $5.50 Coors Light pitchers. Happy hour is from 9 to 11 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 20

DVD Releases

New to DVD this week is “Unstoppable,” starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. In this action thriller, a rookie train operator (Pine) and veteran engineer (Washington) learn that a runaway locomotive carrying carloads of dangerous chemicals is headed for a small Pennsylvania town. In order to save the day, they must figure out how to catch up to the rogue engine.
