The Lady Little Lions’ season came to an end last night with a second-round playoff loss to Baldwin.
The team shot just 21 percent, according to the Centre Daily Times, in the 45-37 loss.
For seniors Ashley Smith, Sarah Sallade, Kate McDonald, Katelyn Gill, Kirsten Glantz and Kelsey Gill, a high school basketball career has come to an end. Nine juniors and sophomore on the roster currently could return for next season, however. (See the full roster here.)
Baldwin will face Mount Lebanon in the next round, while State High will begin thinking about next season.
