The State College Area High School construction project will cause some changes to traffic patterns around the site starting Monday.
Plaza Drive will be closed to vehicles because of work to link then ew stormwater basin on the high school’s north campus to the Borough of State College stormwater basin along Westerly Parkway, according to State College Area School District.
Pedestrians will be permitted on Plaza Drive and Parkway Plaza residents will have access to apartment complex parking lot via Logan Avenue.
From Monday through the end of the summer, the State High South Building loop entrance off O’Bryan Lane will be closed, and Welch Community Pool patrons no longer will be able to park in the limited number of spaces along the driveway next to the pool. The entrance off Westerly Parkway will offer two-way access for drop-offs and pickups only.
All pool parking will be in the North Building parking lot.
