Students in a unique course will get the chance to show off their hard work involving some four-legged friends on Saturday, April 27.
That’s when the 17th annual Quarter Horse Sale at Penn State will take place at the Snider Agricultural Arena. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and sale horse demonstrations start at 10 a.m. Tours of the equine barns are at noon and the sale gets underway at 2 p.m.
Students in assistant professor of animal science Brian Egan’s equine marketing course have spent the spring semester preparing 14 horses and organizing the sale.
