A strong thunderstorm is on its way and will affect south central Centre County Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service in State College.
At 6 p.m., the storm was near McAlevy’s Fort in Huntingdon County and moving east at 10 mph.
The National Weather Service says that gusts of wind up to 30 mph and pea-size hail are possible with this storm. Heavy rain is also expected. Water may pond on roads and fill poor drainage areas.
U.S. Route 322 will be affected by the storm.
