“Upstream” is coming to the waters of Spring Creek.

The performance is a unique and powerful dance piece that calls for you to remember your own intrinsic connection with nature.

It’s choreographed by Jenny Roe Sawyer and performed by From the Earth Dance Company.

Presented by Sawyer and her Philadelphia-based dance company, this evocative duet takes the traditional, sanitized dance performance and literally puts it into the river.

Upstream will be presented at noon and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12 near Pavillion No. 2. at Spring Creek Park in State College.

The performance lasts approximately a half-hour and is free.
