The details of Penn State football’s nonconference slate have been filled in.
The team on Wednesday afternoon announced kickoff times and broadcast information for its first three matchups of 2026. The home opener against Buffalo, and the first game of the Matt Campbell era, will commence at 3:30 p.m. eastern time on Sept. 5 and will air on FOX Sports 1.
The Nittany Lions first road trip, against Temple on Sept. 12, will kick off at noon on ESPN 2. The following week, they’ll welcome Buffalo to Beaver Stadium on Sept. 19 for another noon kickoff, with the Big Ten Network airing the matchup.
The only other kickoff time that’s been released is for Penn State’s matchup at Northwestern on Friday, Oct. 2, which will start at 8 p.m. The team’s Homecoming contest against Wisconsin was previously reported as a 3:30 p.m. kick, but a university spokesperson confirmed that information was inaccurate and the start time hasn’t been decided.
