A pair of Nittany Lions declared intent to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday.

Wide receiver Aaron Enterline and linebacker Kari Jackson, both redshirt freshmen this season, plan to finish out their careers elsewhere.

Despite being a walk-on, Enterline spent time working with the two-deep at practice and was praised for his play-making ability, however inconsistency likely prevented him from seeing more playing time. Enterline saw seven offensive snaps this season, six against Nevada and one against FIU. He was unranked as a recruit, but his practice film may be enough for him to earn an opportunity with a different school.

Jackson, a former three-star prospect, was unable to find the field on defense. He saw just five total snaps, three this season and two in 2024, all on the kick coverage team.

“To my coaches, my teammates and the entire Nittany Lion family: thank you for believing in me and pushing me every day. I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal and am excited to see where God takes me next,” Jackson wrote in an X post.

They bring the total up to seven Penn State players going portaling, joining cornerbacks A.J. Harris and Elliot Washington II, offensive lineman Alex Birchmeier, defensive end Chaz Coleman and tight end Joey Schlaffer.
