Micah Shrewsberry added to Penn State’s 2023 recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon following the verbal commitment of Indiana guard Logan Imes. The 6-foot-4 shooter hails from Zionsville, Indiana and is the second verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions’ 2023 haul.

Imes joins Shrewsberry’s son, Braeden, as the second member of the class, both are classified as guards. Neither prospect is currently ranked by the 247 or Rivals networks.

Shrewsberry won Imes’ services out over the likes of Virginia Tech, Wake Forrest, Butler and Creighton, among others. Imes most recently took a visit to State College earlier in March and was recruited primarily by assistant coach Adam Fisher.

Imes and the younger Shrewsberry head to Penn State on the heels of the Nittany Lions’ soon-to-enroll 2022 recruiting haul which is ranked 23rd in the nation and the fifth-best in the Big Ten by the 247 Network.

That class is five players deep and headlined by four-star center Kebba Njie who is currently rated the No. 98th best prospect in the nation by the 247 Network’s composite rankings.
