State College Borough will lift a few parking restrictions for Memorial Day weekend, according to the parking department.
The “No parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.” restriction will not be enforced from 2 a.m. Saturday through 2 a.m. Tuesday. One- and two-hour restrictions in residential neighborhoods also will be lifted from noon on Friday until 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Parking meters will not be enforced on Monday.
All other restrictions, including the prohibition on lawn parking and areas posted as “No parking any time,” as well as all motor vehicle code violations, will be strictly enforced, according to a news release.
